02 X-TYPE SPORT 2.5 HEADLIGHTS
Ok, I have already changed the drivers' side bulb. What is the trick to getting the back cover off of the passenger side headlamp? What needs to be removed? Any tips would be great. I don't want to take the whole front clip off.

I removed mine with the battery and box in place but it is difficult, even more so to get it backand you'll probably scratch the back of your hand a fair bit. Personally I'd still not remove the battery and when i got Jag Recovery to change bulbs when the blew on a Sunday, they did not take out the battery either.

When I got my bulbs changed and uprated I had a sparky do it. he dint remove anything at all, just fiddled about and got it, albeit with bloody sore n bruised hands afterwards
Coulda been worse I spose......it coulda been m y hands in that condition
Its all down to personal taste/ preference I guess, like everything

Guess I need to be more specific. Since some guys are from across the pond. Instead of passenger side, I'll say the side opposite of the battery. I'm from Michigan U.S. and it's been flippin cold here. A buddy is a mechanic so, I'm gonna let him cut up his hands at the shop tomorrow

Install complete! I did it at home. Just needed a warm day (45' F) so i could do it in the daylight. Yes, you don't need to remove anything. Yes, it's very tight. Yes, it takes a lil fiddlin. Thx to all how helped with their input.
