Smile 03 x-type hid kit install guide?

I just ordered a HID kit for the headlights,just curious if anyone had a "How To"? I was skimming through the threads and couldnt find anything. Any help is much appreciated

Lots of info on this topic, maybe do a search? Its easier if you take the bumper off, but no nessecary.

It's actually pretty straightforward. There is very little room to work with however, so I would suggest taking the front bumper off so you can take the headlights out as mentioned above.

The only thing I had trouble with was the passenger side. Wiring is a little different as the ground and positive wires are in one connector. Driver's side has them separately which connects to the bulb perfectly. I had to ground the ground wire from the HID kit bulb to the chassis in order to get it working on the passenger side.

Trust me, take the front bumper off. Also, remember not to touch to bulbs so wear gloves.

I did it with normal size ballasts, left the bumper on and took off the black undertray. Zip tie the ballasts to whatever you can under there. Put wires through the little tiny hole where the fender meets at the very front.

Haven't had any problems.
