95xtype3.0,
It sounds like you may have confused the computer. I know with my Volvo, I recently worked through some difficult electrical/computer problems, and each time I "fixed" it I would disconnect the positive and negative terminals from the battery and connect them both to ground for about ten minutes, and then reconnect it. This would re-initialize the system to some degree. You could try that. Otherwise, you may have to get the ECU reflashed, which would have to be done by the dealer. But hopefully other forum members might have more ideas that would avoid the dealership visit.

Check to see what fuel was put in the car if the last place was a fuel garage the other faults may come up as the battery gets a little flat with turning the engine over you would not believe how many people come in my old garage and have done this with fuel

I,ll pull the fuel cap and see if I can smell it.

Another update on the Jag.
While cranking it over, it,s blowing air out the two front snorkels, that are suppose to be air inlets.
Can a timing chain be messed up on a car that only has 30 thousand miles on it ?
Or does anyone else have any ideas on what might be going on ?
Where,s that THERMO guy, when you need him ? LOL

Needless to say, after your directions on how to get there, I found the fuse, and sure enough, it was blown. I replaced it, and it turned on. What a goof, if it wasn't so sad, so much time and money spent, i would be laughing out loud. Anyway, thank you for you all's help. When i first had this problem, i didn't know where to look until I found this forum. Good day, from south Texas, James.
Having same issue... checking these tread suggestions today! Thank you
