Does anybody have any suggestions on where to buy a clutch kit for the A/C compressor? Was looking at Advance Auto parts website and they have 5 or 6 listed. Any other places want to sell whole compressor. Thanks!

 

So I know that you're clutch is probably out like every other xtype on the road right now. I would recommend that you buy the whole compressor because you are going to have to remove the compressor to get the clutch out anyways. Also, when you open up the system to the air, you will have to vacuum the whole system again. I know it sucks, but you will have to replace the compressor, drier/receiver, and then vacuum it just to replace the clutch. Don't do what I did and try to just replace the clutch because you WILL spend WAY more money than you have to once you've screwed up and had to re-do everything twice. I blew $500 in just parts because I did my setup wrong the first time around. Just don't cut corners with A/C work.
