06 plate problemo

06 plate problemo

Hey all i have a diesel jaguar x-type and wen i try start the engine sometimes wen its warm the car sorta hesitates makin like a noise as if its pushing itself to start like a stuttering noise and then after about 5 seconds.. Vrooom car starts

Does anyone know why this is happening ive taken it to a friend of mine to look at but hes never worked on a jag before and has no idea of the problem if you need anymore info to help just ask

will be very greatfull if anyone can help

What difference does it make if your friend has never worked on a Jag before....mechanically its a Mondeo TD engine!

Plus, this site has mostly members from North America. We don't have the diesel versions here, so there is less chance that anyone on here has experienced the same issues you have been seeing. It's not that people won't help, it's that most people can't help because they do not have a diesel. And one of few that might be able to help you from that side of the pond, you probably just ticked him off. Hope you can get things sorted out.
