New to this forum. Been spending some time over at the XK8-XKR site. I've got a '98 XK8 conv. Wife has her second x-type. First was a new '03 Topaz and light tan. 2/09 we bought an '07 Jaguar racing green and white. Every available option. I think in '06 they called it a VDP. Got rid of the '03 when warranty experation cost me $$$$. '07 warranty good until 2/13. Will most likely try and get that extended for a couple of years. Only complain with car is the noisey, hard riding continental tires. Really like dealers service dept. Service writers are very knowledgeable. Whole atmosphere in waiting room is the best I've seen. Most customers are friendly. 3 large screen TVs, over a dozen computers, coffee, bagels, soda, water, salads, snacks,daily new papers, current mags. and a spotless rest room. There have been times I refused the loaner car and just hung out and waited the couple of hours. On a whim I asked for a good customer discount on none warranty work on both cars. Now there is an automatic 15% off the bill. Hope you guys enjoy your Jags as much as I enjoy mine. Jack

Welcome! You've got the perfect year (2007), color (metallic green) and spec (VDP). When I'm ready to trade my 2005 Jaguar Racing Green X-Type, I'm going to look for a 2007 or 2008 model like yours. Of course, by then, there might not be any good ones left.

Post some pics when you get a chance! Would love to see the interior especially. It's a pretty rare combo you have.
