Cool 08 Style Mina Gallery Grilles

Hey guys! Just wanted to give my own .02 cents on the '08 style mina gallery grilles. First off, it was a hard to choice to pick these over the more traditional looking grille without the giant growler, because I couldn't really find pics online of the 08 style grilles. Man, these grilles made a world of a difference! Just wanted to help out some fellow Jag owners in case they were ever considering buying these grilles. Btw, I thought it would only be fair to buy the lower mesh grille insert to complete the look. Really made the car look a lot more modern and refreshed imo . Let me know what you guy's think.

Looks nice, the logo in the middle of the grill makes a dramatic difference and enormously makes it look outstanding

Looks good!

I'd previously considered the Mina grill and lower mesh a bit OTT, but this time it looks the biz. Nice one. I went with the OEM grill myself.

What change did you make with the Growler? I don't see much difference?

Oh, as for the growler, I was just mentioning that the logo on the grille was a lot bigger and noticeable than the one on the regular grille ('07s and below).

I love that look. I added my growler grill last summer. I need to take pics this summer and add them. You are right it gives it a customized look. I have seen a couple of X's around me and none of them have the growler grill. You going to put some rims on that ride?

I love my Mina grille and I am starting to warm up to the stock bigger mesh also. OP - I found the stock location of the badge to look better - still centered, but up a little. You might want to experiment with it.

Nice rack...

Im planning on doing the same, but making the mesh black.

@Exexpat:

Do you mean that one can adjust the Mina mesh grill growler badge so that it's higher on the grill (as it is on the stock larger mesh grill)? Does that take any fabrication? Reason I ask is that I'm torn between choosing the Mina (smaller mesh) and the stock grill. I agree with you that the centered, but higher placed growler looks better but I'm not much of a DIYer.

Correct. There is just 3M molding tape and a tiny screw (or two) back there. You can place infinitely on the grille, as the grille itself is just flat mesh and no designated indent or unique hole(s) for the badge.
