Well, one possible plus to this whole ordeal (at least for buyers) is that the nice used S-Types on the market may drop in price a little with the debut of the XF. Definitely good news for aquill.

The xf will help jag out but will also deter their heritage customers (that's the word that comes to mind!) Hopefully the xj doesn't change horribly on the next face lift!

but the motor is still basically the same, the new xk has the same 4.2, the xj has the same 4.2, they all need to be upgraded.
Just wanted to say that the reason the XF has three models, Luxury, Premium Luxury and Supercharged, but no XF-R, is......wait for it.....drum roll please.......
They have a new engine coming out. It will first be put in the XF-R and later the 2010 XJ. The new engine is a 5.0 V8 pushing more than 500BHP and has no cam shafts. Solenoid operated valves. Can't wait for it to hit the dealers. Will supposedly rape the M5. Yummy.
Oh yeah....I am not very good at quoting and putting into new message either....but you get the jist I am sure.
