I'm in the market for a set of four 16X6.5 Anteres wheels that came with the X-type
I would actually be interested in other makes wheels (Volvo etc) also, but in the 16" range
At the end of the day i want a spoke type of wheel that i can paint an Anthracite/dark grey color
Any ideas greatly welcomed

First of all, I think that 16" wheels look a little too small for the xtype. If you are going for wheels, go at least 18s. Craigslist is your friend for cheap wheels. I grabbed a complete set of 5x108 18s for $200 a year back that were still in the box. The wheels I got were volvo wheels. Also keep an eye out for lincoln ls wheels, stype wheels, and taurus wheels. They all have the same bolt pattern. If you are set on 16's (I understand your taste may be different than mine) I would search for taurus wheels because I have seen a bunch of 16 wheels on CL for them.

 

Bigger isn't always better! Lower profile tires are not only more expensive, but also more sensitive to imperfections on the tarmac.

Also, the lower the profile, the lower to the ground the lip of the wheel is, and thus curbing them becomes even easier. I have 16" X10s as winter wheels and 17" Bermudas as summer wheels, and I wouldn't go any bigger.

 

I have a set with tires sitting around that I was thinking about selling...but shipping them from FL to NC probably wouldn't be cheap

Just to be clear, you have the 16" Anteres...

 

My Photo Shop skills are limited, but this is the effect i'm after...
As well as different wheels, i'm after the Sport, body color trim look + blacking out the window chrome
