Smile 2.5L vs 3.0L Transfer case

Does the 3 liter X type have a "stronger" transfer case or drive line then the 2.5 liter?
Why I asked I have read a few post over the months I have been on the board saying the TC is the weak part of the drive line system, or am I mistaken about the TC and is the drive line itself the weak part of the car? Since the 3 liter produces quite a bit more HP that the 2.5 liter I am wondering is Jaguar "beefed" up the TC or the drive line, consider both vehicles with automatic transmissions. Thanks as always.

Adam, to the best of my knowledge, the 3.0L uses the same transfer case as the 2.5L motor. As for different power, when you look at the numbers, there isn't a big difference. But, when you drive the car, there is a difference since the 3.0L motor makes lots of power down low where the 2.5L motor needs to be wound up some before it comes to life.
