Hi guys,

I have a 2001 X-Type 2.5 (manual) and was wondering if someone had a similar symptom with the engine idling rough at start up then after about 30secs it sort of settles down a little bit but you can still notice it.

And when I rev the engine up, it sounds like misfiring? No code showing up on the instrument panel at all.

I have renewed all the spark plugs and checked for vacuum leaks, replaced the IMT seals but with no improvements at all.

Does anyone know how to check/test the ignition coils?
