2002 2.5 v6 x type
Hi guy's. I recently bought a 2002 2.5 v6. When I got it was advised the O2 sensor needed replacing and this would turn the Eml off. I have read the post on this forum and seems this may not be my cure. I have the "no cruise " message as well has the Eml. Starting her in morning runs like a sick dog and is getting worse. I have checked the vacuum hose which looks like it has already been replaced with the ribbed newer type. Is there something else I should be looking for or are the warning messages and lights pointing to the O2 sensor. If so Which 1. Upstream or down or both. Any info greatly appreciated guys.

Probably the best place to start is to get the codes read and posted here. Hard to accurately diagnose with the limited information you posted. If your issue is an O2 sensor knowing what code is present will tell you which one is bad. However, the 02 sensor might be a symptom, but not the underlying issue.
Is your car in limp mode, where it will not go past 3000rpms? Does it idle ok, or is it rough? Any recent maintenance done to it? You get the idea. Any other info you can provide will help getting you pointed in the right direction to getting your issue(s) fixed.

+1 on needing the code(s) that are tripping the EML. An inexpensive OBD scan tool is handy to have; here in the States most auto parts stores will read them gratis. When you do get them, be sure to write them down then post them here. Many of the codes refer to either Bank 1 or Bank 2. On this engine Bank 1 is cylinders 1, 3 and 5, positioned near the firewall. Bank 2 is cylinders 2, 4 and 6, near the radiator.

Because you're getting misfire codes for all cylinders I'm going to say you've got to look for and correct any air leaks in induction system first. Search the forum for what the usual suspects are. Others more experienced with these problems are probably going to ask about what your fuel trim readings are. Since you recently bought the car I'm guessing you may not have much maintenance history on it. How many miles on it? Pulling a spark plug or two out of Bank 2 would give you some idea of what the engine needs.
