Default 2002-2005 OEM Body Kit...

I'm about to place an order for the OEM body kit and my X has reverse park aid sensors. The dealer says that there is only one part# for the rear part of the kit and they do not know if it has the four wholes for the park aid. Does anyone know if that piece comes with the four wholes in placefor the rear park aid?

Thanks,
Nate

Im not sure but if no one knows why dont you askthe dealer to contact Jag customer services to find out or email them yourself.A lot of bumpers these days (from other manufacturers) at our bodyshop need holes cutting, most of them have circles marked on the back for where to cut but not all so its worth contacting customer services to find out if theirs are per cut or not.

Well, I know that the Arden body kit has markers on it as to where to cut holes in the case that you have back-up sensors.

I would assume that the OEM kit would be the same way. Though, I can guarantee that they will not sell the rear valance with the holes already cut, you will have to have a body shop do that part for you.

However, I personally find the back-up sensors to be just plain annoying and I think that they ruin the look of the rear valance. My suggestion would be to not even install them.

If they need to be cut get that done before painting.

The original body kit from Jaguar does come with a kit to relocate the sensors, you just need to cut the holes yourself. It looks to be a pain in the ****, but it can be done on your own or have the body shop painting it do it. Regardless, it should be done prior to painting.

I'll be going through this soon (I hope).

i'm curious... what's the cutout for just to the right of the left tail hole (it's pictured just above "Item L")?

It's for the hook when towing the car. There is a cover for it (item B). Even the non-body kit version has it, the cover is much smaller though.
