I`m new to this forum and i am in need of some help. I bought a 2002 jaguar x type 3.0L . I installed a used transmission 43k and when i went to test drive i noticed i had no reverse. The Reverse lights up on the shifter , you can kind of feel it kick in to reverse but it just revs up. if you accelerate, it will move a tiny bit backwards. i jack the rear end of the car and it will spin in reverse but not under a load. Transmission fluid is full. I'm wondering if it has a bad valve body, band, or solenoid pack. all gears work very well but reverse. any help would be great.
