Does anyone know if our X Type J Gates have backlights like other Jag types do?

My J Gate is not backlit (as far as I can tell without tearing into it) and looking at the 2002 X Type electrical drawing for the J Gate (Fig. 04.1/04.2) there is no backlight referenced, but then the light for the "Sport Mode" switch is also missing from the drawing.

The electrical drawings for a 2006 XJ, which supposedly does have a J Gate backlight, shows no lamps for a backlight (drawings attached below), but the attached photo is what it looks like according to other XJ owners in this forum, and the other photo shows the lamp locations on their J Gate circuit boards...

Would like to fix my backlights, if they exist on the X Type J Gate circuit board like other Jag types have. Just need to know if they are there, and just burned out....
