Hi guys,

I am hoping that someone can please help me. I have a jaguar x type 2002 v6 sports edition, the backlight of radio/cd player will not power down (shut off after i lock and set alarm) the illumination light stays on all the time and its draining my car battery so in turn i come to car in mornings and battery is dead.

Any advice on what it could be? I have tried resetting the radio and it has not worked ... light still stays on.

The central locking is been replaced as there is a problem with drivers side locking button ... would this have something to do with it?

Any advice would be great , thanks in advance.

I am having simular problem, but the radio thinks the phone is off the hook.
If you find a solution, please let me know.
