2003 jaguar rough ride
#2
Hi alfieris1,
I noticed a rough ride when I bought my X-Type. First thing you should check is tires and tire pressure. Check your recommended pressure settings, listed inside the gas cap (if I remember right). A couple PSI lower can improve the ride quality. Old tires can also lead to a rough ride.
Another thing to check is your control arms, upper and lower. It's more than likely they need replacing (since the rubber bushing are over 15yrs. old).
I noticed a huge difference when I replaced the front and rear control arms.
PM me if you need more details such as replacement parts.
Chris
