I have a 2003 3.0 auto. Well to make a long story not so short, I had it in the shop (not a jag shop, I'm not that rich) for a loud rattle in the eng. compartment and they thought it was and so did I actually a spun bearing so they pulled the eng and found very loose bolts on the torque converter. We are not sure how that happened, but it did and they put everything back together and started it up and no more noise. Well they were very proud of them selves so they decided to change the Trans fluid while they were working on the car and like I said they were not Jag tech's and so they took out the wrong bolt. They took out the Reverse adjustment screw, not knowing what it was, thinking it was the drain plug for the Trans fluid, like I said they were not Jag tech's, and then put it back in, not knowing what they had just done. So does anyone out there have a way to reconnect the reverse band without taking the trans out, again keep in mind I am not rich by any stretch of the imagination. Thanks for all your help in advance.
