2003 X Type - Headlights not working!

I recently purchased a 2003 X type and have discovered the outer headlights which also house the signals are not working at all... The only headlights that work are the inner headlights on High Beam only. Any ideas of what this can be? I am very frustrated about this. I contacted the dealership I bought the car from (Ford in Dallas) and was told the car was sold AS IS... Talk about customer service.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Lasso, sounds like a bad ground. You will need to pull out the headlights and do a little bit of investigating. The only other thing that it could possibly be is that someone worked on the headlights at the dealership (probably for some minor body work or repainting the front bumper cover) and forgot to plug in the headlights. Either way, you will need to pull out the headlights to access either point. If you want some points to measure with a multimeter, let me know and I will send you what info you may need.
