So I had some issues with our new to us 2004 X

Noise in steering column (squeeky/scratchy sound): Fixed by dealership for 100 with some sort of lube. lol

Scrape noise in rear suspension: Fixed by Dealership, he said it was the E brake cables making noise. He said he greased them???? Not really sure what he did, but the noise is gone!!!!

 

Had the same noisewith my steering.
Fixed with the additive and more info was posted somewhere on here.

 

If you were charged $100 by the dealer, that was too much. The additive is $13.00 and pays 0.3 hours to put in. So if they charge $125.00 an hour, thats $37.50 labour plus the $13.00 for additive. Unless the lubing the cables was also included in the price.
