My problem seems to be too much pressure, the air conditioning is cool at best the clutch does engage and the air seems to get colder when you are moving.
My first thought was add freon, but after reading the pressure gauge I don't know? any ideas

We could probably help you, but without knowing your high and low side pressures and ambient temperature, it's anyone's guess.
