Hi, can anyone help me.
I am looking for a replacement windscreen and found ne on ebay but I am not sure if it will fit my car. The windscreen is from a 2004 s type facelift model and my car is a 1999 s type.
Does anyone know if it is compatable as it is a 300 mile round trip to collect it.

One screen has a rain sensor, and therefore, different.

The part number changed with the 2002.5 face lift and then again probably with the 2005 titivation so it probably won't fit..
Having the sensor if you don't need it wouldn't be a problem would it?

 

Thanks for all your answers, I am not worried about the rain sensor coz I have never really used it in the past anyway and (not really bothered if it is the heated one or not tbh) I just need to know if it will physically fit my car. I have a guy to fit as long as it will fit. Can anyone confirm if the screen pictured will physically fit or not. Thanks guys

 

All I can tell you is it's not the same part number, whether that's due to the shape or something else I don't know.

 

Found another one on ebay: JAGUAR S-TYPE 2004- FACELIFT FRONT WINDSCREEN - again not sure if will physically fit (sensors not a problem) . Does anyone know if Jaguar produce a list of compatable parts to see if the screens for the year/models are changable. ie: if a 2004 screen wil fit a 1999 etc ?
