2004 x-type check engine light

hey i have a 04 x-type 2.5 and the check engine light came on the other day day the code is 1384.my inspection is due at the end of the month,so if anyone could help me out or just point me in the right direction i would be greatful!

I checked the codes and 1384 doesnt exist, are you sure thats the right code...

its a vvt solenoid a malfunction and i have no clue what that is

i went back to autozone and the codes they read are p1384 and p1111.i have no idea still. any help would be great thanx

it can be old oil ... sludge clogging up passages or a solenoid malfunction... for that bank.

2002 X-Type 205

I was getting a check engine light after a limp mode experience. I was getting limp mode everyday for about 3 or 4 months. I bought a used 3.0 throttle body. Since then, I get an engine light about 3 times a week. Still get it. I got the code read and it was the same as with the old throttle body. The difference is that I don't get the limp mode anymore. What is the fix for this check engine light mode? I don't remember the codes. There is always 2-codes.
