2004 X type purchase

2004 X type purchase

I just purchased a 2004, 2.5, 5 speed and just love it! Shifting takes getting used to as it is different from most US and Japanese vehicles, but once you master it the car drives great.
However, I have discovered something weird. There is a clear tube that is sticking out of the rear right wheel well. It does not appear to have been cut as the end is very smooth and even, but looks like it has come disconected from something. Briefly looked at the other side and I don't see anything that resembles this. Any ideas?

Bluedawg - I haven't got one on mine and now that I see you have, I want one too. Was that extra?.......lol
Just messin mate.........I dont have a clue other than maybe someones had neon underlights fitted?.......Surely not?
