Smile 2005 2.0d 134k miles advice please

Hi Folks,
I'm considering buying a very nice x type 2.0d 134k miles full stamped service history one owner. Is there anything I should be looking for as I'm not very familiar with this model, the price is £2900. My current jag is a 2001 xj8 4L with 136k and I do all the reirs and servicing so I don't mind getting stuck in.

Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

there are number of things that you kept in mind before buying the car. first of all, the total number of miles on it and model year. test some of the very important parts like injector, plug, compresser, tyre usage and original rating, all interior accessories, engine colling and ac, exhaust measurement and wheel alignment. these are some factors which gives you the exact condition of the car apart from what owner says.

check the suspension real well. The front lower control arms (ball joints), and for the rear suspension: the lower front control arms. If the bushings on these are gone then there will be some play which you can feel when you raise the car on a lift and try to move the tires holding them firm. If these are bad, you got some immediate expense coming your way.
