i think 13's wud be a little to little for the X, but if they were 16's to 19's, theyd look pimp. Havent yet seen any daytons on a X, but im sure it wud look good.

I saw some 20" foose speedsters on a jag...it didn't look too horribly bad...19's are definitely the biggest to go with. As for that pic 04 it looked photoshopped to me. The front end you could almost see all of the rim and the rear was tucked. If you look to the clearance of the car on the ground it looks almost perfectly straight to me...are there any other pics of it? If there are more than one pic it may be true but just off the pic you supplied I'd say photoshopped! Those rims look nice but not 20's and not on the x maybe 18's or 19's but not 20's...I'd like those on a 300 or charger...like the ones on miami vice's car...man that was awesome!

BTW who would seriously come on this forum just to bash the x-type...who would keep working for the company if you hate them so much? Why not find another job as a gm mechanic or something...or perhaps chrysler/mercedes for sure stability there...considering there cars are worse than jags!

Who would spend time at home on a computer to bash a car especially when they don't have one??? Kind of like biggie posting on the x forum but his situation makes sense!

I agree 19's on the X is the biggest you should go. Everyone always wants to put 20's on their car, its not about having the biggest rims, its about having the best looking & performance car.

By the way, I was thinking about lowering my car on 19's. What would be my best option? Which springs and would I have to modify the fenderwells?

im pretty sure u wud have to mod the fenderwells, i think if u go with either eibach or arden u shold be good. Im still pretty sure u will rub with additional weight in the car or going over bumps/potholes a little quick. if u get a good set of shocks, then u mite be able to have it not rub. If u can find some that u can adjust the damping on em, then they shud be able to keep the car stiff enough so it wont rub.

That sounds like trouble to me...how much you looking to drop it? What size tire you have 35series? I'd be weary with dropping it with 19's but I don't think it'd be a concern if the rims are the same offset and width of the stock rims...although my stock 17's rub!
