Default ABS code question

I took my car to All Jaguar in Longwood, FL, which I must add is a top rate shop. They pulled the code for my ABS light. 1288. That is apparently the brake pressure sensor which jots out the side of the ABS module. $222 + labor to replace.
We did pull the power line and spray some cleaner around where it clips in. The light stayed off for 10 minutes then it came on again. It's teasing me!
So my question, or questions are....

I'm assuming the code is correct. Can someone check it for me and just confirm it.

The sensor is just under all the brake lines that go into the module. Is there an easy way to get at the sensor without dismantling the module?

Is there a better price that $222?

British cars and british men says my wife! LOL

Thanks guys.

Hi Flyrr100 sounds like you have a bad connection check terminals have no corrosion and plug terminals have not got loose
