Hey guys, so I just bought a 2004 Jag X-Type and have couple issues with it. Hoping someone can help me out.


I have the ABS light and the DSC error come on at the same time. The odd time when I start the car after not driving it for about 5 hours the codes do NOT come on, but after driving for about 10 min the ABS light comes on along with the DSC error on the display. I scanned the ABS codes and I get "C1288-Primary pressure transducer circuit failure" AND "U1900-CAN communication bus fault passive anti theft system". I guess I would start with one at a time. I'm hoping someone had the same scenario as I don't want to start guessing and replacing whole bunch of sensors for this to go off.


The only thing I tried is replacing a battery which did not help.


Can anyone throw some suggestions my way? Thank you!!!
