Default Air Con fault

hi, went to have to air con re gassed and told there was a fault with it ,no gas at all in the system and when the system was pressurized it held the pressure on the low side but when you started the engine it lost it all, i did pressure the system myself and found no leaks but again started engine lost all pressure, is it the pump itself ? It does sound like the compressor but if you put a dye in the system then it would show the leak.

You might want to pull off the right side inner fender arch cover. The AC piping passes thru the fender and behind the arch cover is I believe the dryer and the low pressure cut off switch as well as there connections. They are not visible with the wheel arch in place.

I'd like to meet the sadistic SOB that designed that. No reason it couldn't be accessible under the hood. Especially bad is the fact there's a hole in the inner apron you can see the switch through, but not big enough to access the switch or its connector.
