Let me first introduce myself. I am Huib, presently living at Aruba, but frequently visiting my original home country the Netherlands. There I make use of my Jaguar X-type 2003. Since the car is hardly used, only once a year, it is like brand new and I hope to use its services for many years to come.

However, recently both keys of my Jaguar were stolen during a burglary, so I needed to order new keys and transmitter and my Jaguar was brought to a dealer for adapting these keys to the car. However something went wrong and once used the new keys the alarm went on and could not be switched off. A donor car was needed to adjust the alarm to normal again and now I am faced with huge extra costs by the dealer for this adjustment operation. However, in my contact with the dealer an employee told me somebody made a mistake, for which reason this alarm was seriously disturbed. Can anyone inform me if indeed this can be somebody's mistake or if it is just bad luck? Thanks for your early help!! It's much appreciated.
