Am I immobalized?

Am I immobalized?
I am in the process of moving the navigation unit from my smashed 2005
X-Type to my 2007 X-Type. The installation was proceeding well until
I tried it out. The screen said something like climate not available.
I put the old console unit back in and the climate section is blank,
nothing on the screen. The radio works. Most of the warning lights
are on and the odometer just shows blanks. The car won't start.
I can't shift out of park.
Is this what it looks like if you are immobalized? Could I have
blown a fuse.
I have moved this navigation unit in the past. I moved the same
unit from my 2003 X-Type to the 2005. It went smoothly with no
trouble.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Pete.

I have solved my problem with the navigation system retrofit.
I had forgotten one set of wires that were not part of the cable bundle
for the GPS. It is one segment of the SCP network and not having that
connection broke the network and immobalized the car as well as
breaking half of the touch screen functions. I added
the wires and now everything is working.
This nav unit started in my 2003 X-Type (sold at 203K miles) moved to
my 2005 (crashed at 86K miles) and now my 2007.
