i just happened to see an x today, not unusual, but it had no chrome. none front back or sides. and the leaper was gone. it looked like it was naked. just wondering if it was made like that or if someone did that on purpose.

 

Some x-types were made with body color moldings, normally the sport package cars. The leaper could have fell off or been stolen.

 

thanks for clearing that up. didn't know they did that. it looked very odd i didn't notice it at first, thought it was something else the first time i passed it

 

i like the american sport seats they come with suede inserts.. looks kinda nice.

 

Yeah. We had a guy buy them....lol. Were more expensive than the car was worth. All new frames, leather, foam...like $15k

 

some people are crazy lol.. parts guys must of loved it.
