Default Another weird issue, suggestions please...

Ok, I will try to shorten this,
A few weeks ago, my car went into limp home mode, check engine light came on. I immediately pulled into Autozone and had them pull the codes (unfortunately I didnt think to ask what they were at that time). The guy says the codes indicates my spark plugs are bad. Car has 112k miles, so I figured it was time anyway. So, changed the plugs, replaced the pcv valve & hose, and intake gaskets. Car now runs great, but still getting check engine light. I thought it would go away after a few cycles.

Ok, heres the weird part. Car runs better than ever except when I take an exit ramp or take a sharp turn to the right. Coming out the turn and hitting the gas, car sputters like its gonna go in to limp home mode, but doesnt. Only lasts for a couple seconds, then drives great once I straighten out. Doesn't do it if I take a sharp left. Weird, I know. As for the check engine light, I went back to Autozone after doing all this and pulled a P0174, P0175, & P1111. They said I need a new MAF sensor, so I replaced that. Still have a check engine light and car is still doing the weird thing. Any suggestions folks?????

Sorry, this still ended up being long.

Forget P1111 that just means that certain components have passed several tests. If you clear the codes you will get a P1000 which means that they still have tests to pass.

IT WOULD HELP IF WE KNEW WHAT YEAR AND MODEL THIS IS.

The P0174 is "System too lean" (bank 2) and get this; P0175 means "System too rich" (bank 2)

So this is the left bank. The two fault codes have the following in common: The ECM is geeting an incorrect signal from one or more of the following; ECT sensor (engine coolant temp); the MAF (you changed that); the IAT sensor (intake air temp); fuel rail pressure sensor; and the fuel rail temp sensor.

If you want to fix it yourself you will need a scan tool that gives live data (lets you see it as it happens) you could then see what is happening with the fuel rail and the rest as it happens.

Don't throw parts at it. Check air cleaner first, fuel filter. WIRING, THEN WIRING AND FINALLY THE WIRING. Bad wires or bad connections could do what's happening.

If you are going to fix it yourself, you will need a Scan Tool that has "Live Data". That means that you can see what is happening to the systems as it happens.

It's an 02 X type w/ 3.0. Ok, I will try to find a scan tool. It's either that or take my chances at the Jag service center.

Here is a link to a bunch of videos on YouTube that will help you understand what's happening.
