Any ideas please
Hi Guys, i have had my X Type 04 reg now for nearly 2 years during that time i have had the front anti roll bar bushes replaced / prop shaft replaced (cause of the dreaded whine) although its started whining again,(now ignoreing it) rear drop links and bushes replaced because of knocking ... plus front discs replaced and the car hasn't yet covered 18000 miles plus its serviced 12 monthly by my Jag dealer.
My question is this : I have a knock now when going over a roughish road which sounds like the exhaust is fouling the underside rear but it isn't it seems to be coming from the near rear side (kirbside) can anyone give any ideas as to what it might be as im begining to go bald with all these problems. I dont use the car much hence the low mileage could this be the problem?? To be fair its never let me down as yet ..Are all Jags like this or is it just mine!!!!!!!!!! any ideas to the rear knock would be apreciated.Ken.

Just a guess on my part of course..But I have experienced strut failing within the first 2 years from new in other cars..Pot holes and hard bumps could do it, etc..so it's not unheard of...What leads me to suggest the struts is that you said you replaced all the suspension bushing..so that leaves them out and the struts as a suspect.
