Default Any tranny problems in sport mode for you guys?

The lady has been driving the new jag for the last week and she says if she leaves it in sport mode it BOGS if she stops then starts again, but if she uses regular mode it does not. Anyone experience this issue or have any information? Sounds like the tranny clutches are unhappy in sport mode.

I doubt it is anything like a major bog, likely just a stall knowing how she blows everything out of proportion.

Could be a programming issue if it works ok in the other mode.

Mine seems to shift way to hard under light acceleration sometimes in sport mode. Doesn't seem as common in normal mode. To be honest I can't feel a real difference in either mode under WOT shifting. What is the effect of sport mode. Firmer shifts, waiting till higher RPMs to shift????

You are correct. Sport mode will give higher stall speeds.

Yeah the only thing the sport mode does is wait til about 6.5 to shift...I have never noticed any difference in driving with it except it shifts at a higher rpm...
