ASL issue? or BAD Design?
I have a XJ8 VDP but it's in the Jag Shop... They give me an X-Type loaner car I was excited because last time i took my car in they gave me an HHR [:@] so taking this puppy home actually excited me. I was driving home after leaving the Jag dealer and I noticed that when I steped on the gas the volume of music went up and when I slowed down so did the volume of the music. I know that ASL is in many luxury cars. My moms Lexus my friend's Benz's ASL system along with my XJ8 work just fine to a point i don't even the frequencies go to work. I found the X-Types stereo hillarious and after a few rides it's freaking annoying!!! I did not see a on of witch for the ASL and there's no owners manual in the loaner i would appreciate any feedback. oh and dont tell me to turn the stereo off cuz that's not the stuff i want to hear..lol

RE: ASL issue? or BAD Design?
After touching the volume preset button the screen displays the touch controls for adjustment of volume associated with the navigation system, phone, traffic announcements and AVC ( Automatic Volume Control)
Adjustment of AVC varies the rate at which the volume is increased or decreased relative to vehicle speed.
Touch n hold the + or - symbol to adjust the volume of the selected function.
Note: If any of the volume sliders are moved fully to the (-) position then the volume is fully turned off.
Confirm your selection by pressing OK.
