I have had my X-Type for 15 days (bought March 15th), and I have no mechanical issues, which is awesome, but during the test drive we did not turn on the radio so we could listen to the car, and only turned it on just to make sure it worked. After all audio is not an important factor with autos, it's a perk. But whilst listen to some Slayer, I noticed I didn't get any Kerry King solos on the left, balanced all audio to the left and nothing. Turn the radio to max volume and very quite audio. What the issue here?

2003 X-Type 2.5, Automatic, American driver (left side).

 

Probably have a dead speaker there, time for a replacement, aftermarket is calling...will you answer??

 

I've experienced the same problem all three speakers were dead except by the driver speaks and subwoofer. Replace the rear speakers for some pioneers so far so good sounds great now. Need two speakers for the front door any recommendations would be appreciated!

 

Oh boy here come the recommendations. I have always been a fan for cost effective Kicker in door speakers...they are inexpensive and sound great with low wattage...

 

Speaker replacements I can live with.

 

Its a common problem. I bought my X Type and had no sound in the door speakers. Replaced them with some Pioneers. Been happy since!
