Sadly, (but not really) my beloved X-type is now gone. Been a great car for nearly 14 years, but I cannot believe how bad this car had deteriorated over just the last year. I've been nervous about it for a while due to rust getting bad in the rockers - near the rear suspension arms, but in the last year the a/c quit (compressor), swaybar links and bushings shot (3rd time), needs pads and rotors (again 3rd time), and would have needed tires now that it's past snow tire season (thank God!).

So today (actually yesterday), the kitty got traded for a Caddy!
2016 ATS4 2.0T with only 24,000 miles and still under warranty!
I will truly miss the Jag (and I'll miss saying "The Jag" too), but I was beginning to question its structural integrity.
