Default Brake Booster Cap woes

So my brake booster cap broke and wasn't sealing at all. I checked numerous websites and came up with the p/n C2S13235. Checked a bunch of other sites and decided to order from Suburban Auto Parts.
Unfortunately the picture they listed was absolute garbage.

I ordered it anyway because I thought 'How could the part number be wrong?' Well I should never assume, especially after receiving this email from them:

None the less I powered forward, ordered the part and thought nothing of it. Unfortunately this is what I received:

Furthering my confusion over this situation is the fact that when I do a search on that Jaguar part number this is what I am greeted with:

What in the actual f? How do I ensure I get the right part number? Can I run my VIN and verify which part number I need?

Call them directly - let them look it up by your vin# - they've been helpful the couple of times I needed something clarified before ordering.

And when you get it, remember: FINGER TIGHT.

Snug it down and it WILL break.
