Broken Door Handle

I have a 2003 X-Type with 94k on it. The outside door handle snapped off due to it being very difficult to get the latch to open. It's been broke for months now and after being sick and tired of crawling threw and reaching over i ordered a new handle. I found a link that shows me step by step how to remove the door panel and get to the inner door. Is this how i access the handle? Does anybody have any idea how to change it? I'm mechanically inclined i work on cars all the time i just don't get how it's done. Any suggestions would be great. I also have an issue with the sunroof. It works and everything it just all of a sudden wont tilt up all the way or slide back into the roof. It sounds like it's getting caught on something but i don't see anything. Has anybody had this issue? I really don't want to go threw the b.s to pull down the headliner. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
