Broken reservoir cap?

Broken reservoir cap?
So, it appears I have a slow leak somewhere in my cooling system; haven't found it yet, but it seems to only leak when the car is cooling after shutdown.
That isn't the issue, though...I'll wager that is from the low side of the thermostat housing, so an easy fix.
What I did need to do was add coolant, though.
The cap decided to come apart, I unscrewed the lid, it came off, but left the vented plug assembly in the neck. After much cursing and grnaling and gnashing of teeth, I got it to pop out...having the center cap over the release valve pop off in the process.
Good luck finding even a Stant cap in the stores here, but I got a parts guy that wasn't just a computer searcher...we found that the Stant 10248 which fits about a zillion GM products (and some Mazdas, and so on) fits just fine, so I have a cap until the new OEM one gets here.
Just a little piece of paper in the box, reminding the user that the o-rings should be lubed before using the cap or the cap may be difficult to remove.
I guess that explains the plug sticking in the tank neck, huh?
