Default Buying a car from a used car dealer

I got my 02 x 2.5 from a used car dealer about 3 weeks ago. The dealer i got it from is UCDA dealer (live in Canada) and so far I have noticed the transfer case making noises, the rear diff making noises, my recirculation damper is stuck in the closed position, there is a squealing coming from a possible pulley or belt and my drivers side seatbelt does not retract well. I am fearing that my car might turn out to be a lemon. Now I am not sure if the diff and transfer case are messed up... could just be low on fluid. I did purchase an extended warranty from the dealer. It is a third party warranty from a company called "A Protect" but they would only cover a maximum of $1500 per repair. Is there anyway I could go back to the dealer who I got the car from and make him fix these problems or take the car back? As I have only had it for 3 weeks and driven it less than 1000 KM or is there anything I can do or do I have to except the fact that I may have spent my money on a lemon.

If he sold the car "sold as is" that's a bad news [:'(].It's like a disclaimer you know in a sense . Still,if he's a good guy things can change

Well I woudl assume it would be "as is" its not like he said if anything happens within x ammoutn of time bring it back, and it is an 02. I guess I got the warranty so I will have to hope nothing major happens and if ti does the warranty will cover it. I wish Canada had Lemon laws like the states.

Well I am not positive that the noise is coming from the transfer case.. it could be coming from the coupling or the prop shaft, not sure need to get it up on a hoist. I am pretty sure the noise from the back is coming from the differential as I had a friend in the back and they said they noticed the noise and it wasnt coming from the door seals or windows. But then again you will only know when it goes up. I am getting my breaks done (for free) from the private dealer who i purchased my car from tomorrow (part of safety) and I will see if we can put it on the hoist then and listen to it. Thanks fr the help and the support guys.

Hey mr xtype..............make sure you keep us informed of progress / or not.
If you do diagnose the fault, what was the culprit?

Good luck

the car has 36K km on it. Now I havent been honest with you guys... I made a big mistake when I baught this car... When I test drove the car i herd the noise and the dealer said its a viscous coupling. He said its about $300 to fix but he said if he didnt do it he would discount the car by $300. Sounded fair after looking at my warranty and seeing that the coupling was covered so I said it was ok. Well he had the car safety and certified and I drove it home with the noise. Well now as it turns out the dealer is not the honest guy I thought he was through other issues I had with him and I am starting to doubt it is the viscous coupling. So I was hoping someone on here had an idea.

I got my warranty activated and I will eventually take it in and let you guys know what the culprit is. Lets say it is the viscouscoupling which is gone... what do u guys think jag would charge to diagnose and repair the problem? My warranty covers $1500 of all repairs. So if I could get this fixed for less than $1500 I might as well go to jag as my warranty is paying for it and not me. Speaking on that note anyone on here work for a jag dealership? Hopefully the one in downtown toronto? I live in brampton the one in woodbridge and etobicoke is also close enough for me. Maybe while I am there we could possibly do an oil change also cough! cough! warranty! cough!
