I have a buzzing noise from around the dash. It happens all the time, key in or out, and sounds to be coming from the LHS of the steering wheel (RHD) around the indicator stalk. I notice there's a litte speaker panel on the dash around there, perhaps this is the reverse bleeper? Anyone else had this?

Maybe

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...926/#post45648

buzzing noise from the dash

" Your buzzing noise is probably your motorised aspriator ( not sure of spelling !! ), its a small fan, set in the dash just near your left knee. It senses in car temperature, and sends this info to air con/ climate control. They all make a bit of noise, but you can't normally hear them over engine noise. Maybe yours has something caught in it, or is just noisey "

You can pop off the cover and chances are there is a bunch of dust and gunk in there. You clean that out and it might quiet down. I never really heard mine, but know that others have had this same issue over the years.

I just did that, and it didn't make any difference. I'll have another go when I've got time and light to do it properly

Once you close the doors and walk away (engine off)..It will shut down in about 30 minutes..Starts right back up as soon as you open the door..The intake vent needs a little cleaning once in a while, as it has been mentioned..
