Should be done by the weekend.

Going black (same color as window trim) with a brushed lip to break up the wheel/tire look. Staying with black and chrome factory center cap.

 

Now to get the calipers painted red, "Jaguar" white decals applied, tires mounted and Spring to arrive.

I'm about to do the same thing (same wheels), but using Anthricite Grey with a gloss. I feel like the grey will go better with my midnight black car.

 

Originally I wanted to go with body color or a close gun metal but I did not want a mid-90s Pontiac look with body color wheels.

I agree with you, black on a black car is too much (in my opinion).

 

Glad someone recognizes that all black is a little too much most of the time and some contrast is nice.

The caliper paint and decals are in, but it is too bloody cold. Most likely I won't have my setup done and on the car until late March

 

Perfect timing on my shipping. New center caps came today!

 

Painted the passenger side calipers last Saturday, let paint cure and stuck decals on today. I also Painted the driver side today, will let the paint cure and install the decals next weekend (I leave for Germany tomorrow, so she is gonna sit this week).

The calipers came out really well. They look very strikingly red against the black wheels. I did the same to mine but with silver wheels
