Default A/C problem after new compressor, accum, and thingybob

Okay, I did the compressor accumulator and vacum filter thing. forget the name and to hot and burnt to look up up but its knew

I had a guy come out with a robinair ac charger and he drained, cleaned and vacuumed the system and charged it. This was the spring and all worked fine. Now its 100 plus and it is not working.

below 95 it seems okay on low fan but not right

Over 100 it dont work but at times you feel a mixture of hot and cold from one vent.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Oh, there is a sunload sensor on the dash. I found a tsb that said to disconnect int it is not necessary. The guy with the robinair machine said a temp sensor was probably it and for 900 he'd do it. Not bloody well likely!

Okay, I'm going to reply to my own thread.

Hey UK, if you think it might be the "Air discharge temperature sensor?

Go to JTIS for 2002 x type click on "Control Components." Its not intuitive because it doesn't mention Air condition...so I found it by accident, didn't have my reading glasses.

You will see the temperature sensor on the left, presumably behind a simple removal of a glove box perhaps, but then it took my 3 hours to become a contortionist to get the friggin head lamp out and back in.

Hey do you thing the "sunload sensor could affect it?" If so, a tsb advises to remove it and replace it with better plastic gromets to sucure the vent trim, says to zip tie it to a harness out of the way. Gee I wonder if darkness with help that computer thing keep the ac on or something.
