Default Camber Specs?

Hi guys, I noticed my camber specs on my last alignment (around 6 months ago) was -1.7 degrees in the front and -2.3 in the rear.

I didn't ask them for any special camber specs when I got it done, I just looked at the printout like a week ago and noticed. Anyway, I was wondering what's a good angle for the camber for good handling. Doesn't having a more positive front camber spec induce understeer? I want to reduce understeer as much as possible.

I'm getting an alignment done again because I hit something on the freeway that couldn't messed something up. So what's a good camber spec for the front and rears for some grip in the corners?

Thanks in advance!

The xtype doesn't have any sort of camber adjustment in the rear. The sports are actually cambered a little bit more from my experience. This is to get more grip and actually comes from the factory lowering kit. The only way to adjust the rear camber is to move the subframe and replace worn bushings. Basically, if you are on the right side of the car and your tires look like this / then you are good. If your tires are facing outwards like this \ then you have some serious problems with your subframe that you need to get checked out. I would put the front's at or around -1.2 and the rears are going to BURN through tires unless you start replacing your worn suspension bushings in the rear. Hopefully I can be of some help on this

Hi disguay, thanks for all the help. I don't think I have any worn out suspension bushings though, I think the extra camber is because the car's been lowered considerably. I'll probably keep the camber where it is, it seems to be a good set up.

what kind of lowering kit did you use? You are looking at about 10k miles per set of tires on that one...
