Question Can I mix DEXCOOL with G-05?

My car (2003 X-Type 3.0) currently has orange coolant, and I know at least some of it is Zerex DEXCOOL, since I put it in myself (before that it was whatever the shop used, but I know it was orange).

Now I need to top it off (I have a leak , but that's beside the point right now) and I accidentally bought the Zerex G-05. Is it okay to mix the Zerex G-05 with the DEXCOOL? I know you're not supposed to mix colors but I don't know what color the G-05 is. (I haven't peeled off the foil seal because if the answer to this question is "no" I will take it back and get the DEXCOOL instead.)

So I guess my real question is what color is G-05 / can I mix it with orange?

Cheers & happy holidays.

After doing some research, I don't think there would be a problem mixing OAT (orange) and HOAT (yellow). (G-05 is HOAT)

Also, Valvoline seems to recommend G-05 according to this chart: http://www.whitfieldoil.com/download...ineupChart.pdf

Anyway, I probably still won't do it, just in case.
