We put a different motor in my 2002 jaguar x-type 2.5l and found all the plug/connector spots except one two prong white plug that comes from the passenger side firewall and is wrapped in aluminum loom. It reaches almost the front headlight. The other plug that is wrapped with it went to the face of the motor in the middle of the pulleys, but we have had many people look for where this plug connects to and can't find it for the life of us. The plug has one red wire and one blue wire going to the plug. No idea what it controls. Please help! Oh, and its female.

 

That sounds like the pigtail that goes to the rack and pinion steering assembly. Do you have a picture?
