Default can my 2002 jaguar X-type be able to take off the spring on the clutch?

I just got my 2002 Jaguar X-Type on January 2016 and haven't had any problems since I've got it. I Recently deleted the mufflers but kept the cats and also installed an AEM Cold air intake. I noticed that the clutch is like a spring and was wondering if there was any way I can have the clutch without the spring?
