car will not move

First the basics, these car's computer would look at the battery voltage and won't even try to crank it. In other words, if the car is at 12.6 volts then good, but if it is at let say 9.8 volts it wont even try. Every other car would crank slowly but this one won't. Put a voltmeter (10 dollar one is fine) across the battery and see the voltage. How long has the car been sitting?

My guess...since these cars have open differentials, which means a spinning "wheel" gets all the power, I would say that your new axle is not connected internally. This would cause the output for that axle to divert all drivetrain power away from the wheels that were not disturbed during the R&R.
